We as a family, living in Gumdale, want to say thank you for the bus service, it is a great help. People always point out the negative things, but never, or hardly say thank you for something well done. May God bless you during this election.
Kind regards
The Mullers
Gumdale.

You would be busier than usual, which is a lot.
Regarding a few other things, I will always be grateful to you for . . .
1. Gateway Waterways Project – over two years old and resurrected thanks to you. We start next week.
2. Your speeches and support of our lost cause corridor in Carindale Hills. You can’t win them all, but you supported us.
Anyway Steve, please accept my very best wishes for your re-election.
Kind regards,
W.Cameron

Since being elected, Steve has created a new template for what an enthusiastic local member can do for the electorate. He is hard-working and gives local concerns his untiring support. I believe that he is a worthy candidate for Chatsworth and he should be re-elected to continue with building and supporting our community.
A. Hawes, Teacher and resident of Carindale
I have known Steve for 20 years since joining the Fire Service together. Steve is an honest, up front, and dedicated local member who works hard to assist the local community. It is great to see my mate Steve Kilburn out in his electorate and engaging with the people of Chatsworth. Shame there aren't more politicians like 'Killa'. No nonsense , straight talking, caring and hard working. He was the same in the Navy and in the Fire Service. People of Chatsworth remember him at election time.
Rich Gorey, resident and Firefighter, Wakerley
I have been fortunate enough to work with Steve through my involvement with a number of community groups and I have always found him and his office to be accessible and helpful, they have always gone above and beyond to help out. Steve is really actively involved in his community and I think it would be difficult to find someone as hardworking or as committed to represent Chatsworth.

As a 4th year Arts/Law student at the University of Queensland, I benefit enormously from the regular 209 bus service which runs to and from the university from Carindale. The increased feeder services running to Carindale shopping centre are also a great public transport improvement. Steve Kilburn lobbied hard to get these important transport services and I'm proud to have him as my local member in Chatsworth. I will be voting for Steve on March 24th.
Ben O’Sullivan, Carindale
By voting for Steve Kilburn I know what I am voting for. In my opinion Steve has been a very conscientious, hard working and honest member for Chatsworth. I have been a long term resident of the Chatsworth electorate and for the past 3 years Steve has been a tremendous asset to me - VOTE 1 STEVE KILBURN.

The Carina Leagues CJ Swim Club is reliant on the active support of volunteers to provide an excellent environment for the swimmers to achieve their personal goals. One supporter that has given fantastic support to our club is the Local Member, Steve Kilburn. Steve has kindly run several BBQ, by himself, to raise funds for our club.He has also attended our carnivals and donated many raffle prizes. We could not ask for a better supporter of our local swim club. This is a man that is truly involved in his local community and we greatly appreciate his support.
Rowan Bate, President, Carina Leagues CJ's Swim Club
When I moved into the AVEO retirement village, Carindale ten years ago I was instrumental in setting up a computer room and arranging for the people who live here to become computer literate. The average age here is 85 years.
Since Steve Kilburn has been our local member he has given us wonderful support in giving us a new printer, computer and consumables. As you can imagine a retirement village has little source of funds so this was a generous bonanza for us. As well as this his office has printed our Chronicle newsletter every month.
He is by far the most willingly involved politician we have had and we have appreciated his help and I will be voting for him on March 24.

Steve has always been available to the Carina Mens’ Shed members and fought hard to get $50,000 to build a new shed at the Clem Jones Centre.

Steve has been a regular visitor to Whites Hill State College and has worked professionally with staff to build partnerships with local organisations that will assist the school and it’s students in to the future. Our sustainability project is a good outcome of Steve’s work.

Steve is a strong voice for this community, fighting for better public transportation and improved health services for residents.
There’s no doubt that Steve works hard for Chatsworth, regularly driving for Carina Meals on Wheels, hosting mobile offices and supporting local community groups across the Electorate. He has also helped to deliver the new police base at Carina.
Having served close to thirty years in the Australian Navy and Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, Steve is a terrific representative for the community and is dedicated to serving the residents of Chatsworth.
