The Telstra Country Wide open session will be held at Carina Leagues Club,1390 Creek Road, Carina on the 14th of December from 9am until 1pm.
On the 14th of December 2011, Brisbane customers will have the opportunity to meet Telstra’s senior local management face-to-face at an interactive customer open session.
Representatives from Telstra Country Wide, Telstra Business and Telstra Operations, Network Planning, Customer Service along with technology experts will be on hand to answer customer questions and discuss their local telecommunication needs.
Telstra Country Wide Area General Manager for Brisbane, Andrew Kelly said Telstra is focused on customer service and customer satisfaction.
“Telstra is committed to customers living in Brisbane and the open session is a testament to this. We want to hear from our customers what matters to them and what their priorities are,” Andrew Kelly said.
“Our staff will work closely with our customers, community groups and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
“We want our customers to benefit from being able to talk to a real person who understands their issues and who can often provide a solution,” he said.
“The open session is designed to make sure our customers can discuss any issue – whether they’re looking to update their mobile phone, have a query with their bill or would like see if they are on the right mobile phone plan – we’re here for our customers no matter what their telecommunications needs may be.”

Belmont Services Bowls Club at Carindale is seeking Men of all ages to join their ranks of Lawn Bowlers in 2011. The Club is particularly seeking younger men to be part of a special training squad to become the basis of its competitive bowlers for future years. The aim is to provide a safe, welcoming and creative environment in which to service a wide range of needs for men from the district and surrounding suburbs. The Shed is a friendly and relaxed place with plenty of time for a cup of tea and a chat. You may also wish to teach or learn from others with modern or yesterday skills. Membership is open to men of all ages. Any donations of tools and timber are greatly appreciated. Just phone or email the group and they will be around to pick them up with Thanks!! CARINA MEALS ON WHEELS NEEDS YOU!! Carina Meals on Wheels located at 1 Edmond Street, Carina is greatly in need of volunteers! Volunteers can work in the kitchen to help with preparation of meals, or they can drive or assist in the delivery of meals to their clients. This would only take up a few hours a week or fortnight depending on how often you are prepared to come. Anyone interested could phone the office between 7am-1pm, Monday to Friday and speak to either Robyn or Amanda on 3398 7438.
